Umuter Architecture Atelier
Umuter graduated from İstanbul Technical University, School of Architecture in 1962. Between 1962 and ‘69, Umuter worked as an assistant for the Chair of Building Construction Methods and Technologies at the İstanbul Technical University, School of Architecture. Between 1969 and ‘72, he served as the secretary general for the Urbanism Institute of the İTÜ School of Architecture. Amongst Umuter’s projects are numerous educational buildings such as Feyziye Schools Foundation Işık High School’s Ayazağa Campus, Saint-Joseph High School Education Foundation’s Kadıköy Elementary School and Feyziye Schools Foundation University’s Şile Campus. He also completed the design and the construction projects of several industrial facilities such as Hürriyet Newspaper Cağaloğlu Vatan Ofset Print Center Facility, Seka Balıkesir Paper Mill Administrative and Social Facilities and Seka Afyon Paper Mill Administrative and Social Facilities. Moreover, some of his office designs are Düzce Chamber of Industry and Commerce Facilities and Zincirlikuyu Grundig Headquarters. Umuter also completed numerous projects in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
