Born in 1939, in Manisa, İnan graduated as an architect from the İstanbul Technical University in 1961. Between 1961 and ‘66, he worked as a designer for several distinguished architecture firms in Frankfurt and Basel. In 1969, he founded his own architecture studio in Ankara. Later, in 1983, İnan founded Sute LLC. The firm has been continuing its projects in İstanbul since 1986.
