EAA - Emre Arolat Architecture
Born in 1935, in Bursa, she graduated from İstanbul Technical University in 1959. Between 1959 and 1960, Arolat pursued her practice in Stuttgart. In 1962, together with Neşet Arolat, she co-founded Arolat Architecture in Ankara. In 1968, they relocated the office to operate in İstanbul. In the Chamber of Architects National Architecture Awards, Arolat was awarded with the Architectural Achievement Award in 1988 and with the Achievement Award in the Building Category in 1992. She holds sixteen 1st Prizes, six 2nd Prizes, three 3rd Prizes and fourteen mentions in the architectural competitions she participated during her career. Arolat is a member of both the TMMOB Chamber of Architects and İstanbulSMD (İstanbul Association of Architects in Private Practice). Since 2008, she continues her work within EAA-Emre Arolat Architecture as an Honorary Partner.
