Oğuzhan Aydın

He graduated from Istanbul Erkek High School in 2008. Afterwards, he continued his architectural education at Karlsruhe Institut für Technologie and Yıldız Technical University, and graduated from Faculty of Architecture in 2014. He founded a student group called bi’sürü at Yıldız Technical University and organized a total of 12 workshops with his team in Istanbul, Ankara and Basel. During his architectural education, he received various awards in student competitions, including Prosteel Steel Building Design Competition and Can Aluminum National Architectural Ideas Competition, and won awards in professional architectural competitions he participated in with different teams. In 2014, he was awarded Young Designer Award by the Turkish Structural Steel Association. He won the 1st prize in the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Service Building and Surrounding Architectural Project Competition, which he attended right after his graduation, and established Lift Studio with his partner Sinan Tuncer.
