Kerem Erginoğlu


Erginoğlu & Çalışlar Architecture

Born in 1966 in Zonguldak, after Saint-Joseph French High School, graduated from Mimar Sinan University, School of Architecture in 1990. He then completed his graduate studies at the same institution, with a thesis titled “New Building Design in a Historical Environment”. In 1993, Erginoğlu founded Erginoğlu & Çalışlar Architecture, in partnership with Hasan Çalışlar. Erginoğlu & Çalışlar’s innovative and aesthetic understanding of design which emphasizes client’s corporate identity, was noticed by international companies, and thus, the projects put forward in that approach received numerous prominent awards. During his career, Erginoğlu worked as a guest lecturer and a jury member at institutions like Mimar Sinan University, İstanbul Technical University, Bursa Uludağ University, Yıldız Technical University, Bologna University and University of Minnesota. Erginoğlu’s articles and sketches were published in several publications and displayed in a nuımber of significant exhibitions. In 2018, he attended the Venice Architecture Biennale, as the instructor of “Vardiya 10” project by Architecture for All Association.
