After graduating from Saint Joseph French High School, he completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. He continued his education in Sint Lukas Faculty of Architecture, Belgium and started to work as a Partner and Manager at İLTAY Architecture in 2007. She is currently pursuing her PhD on sustainable buildings at Istanbul Technical University.
Ebru Ünver Karaer has focused her studies on sustainable architecture, green building design, energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, national and international green building assessment systems.
She gives lectures and seminars on Sustainable Architecture, Green Building and Green Building Evaluation Systems at various universities and takes part as an invited jury member in competitions.
In 2019-2021, she served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Environmentally Friendly Green Buildings Association (ÇEDBİK) and continues to serve as a Board Member.
