Dilgün Saklar


Tekeli Sisa Architectural Partnership

Born in 1955 in Artvin, Saklar completed her elementary and middle education in Ankara, and her secondary education in İstanbul Çamlıca Girls’ High School. In 1979, she graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in architecture. Upon graduation, with İnal Göral, Saklar designed a vacation resort of 80 residences in Şile. She then joined the Doğan Tekeli - Sami Sisa Architecture Firm’s team in 1979, and worked there as a project manager until 2004. Following the restructuring of the firm as Tekeli - Sisa Architectural Partnership, Saklar became one of its partners in 2004. Saklar also prepared the book titled “Doğan Tekeli-Sami Sisa, Projeler-Yapılar, 1954-1994”, which was published by YEM Publications.
