Bünyamin Derman

Born in 1965 in Ereğli, Konya, Derman graduated from Yıldız Technical University, School of Architecture with a master's degree in architecture. Between 1988 and ‘96, he taught at his former school Y.T.U., and ever since 1999 he has been teaching courses as a lecturer at İstanbul Bilgi University, İstanbul Kültür University, İstanbul Technical University and Bursa Uludağ University. Today he works as an instructor in studio design courses at İstanbul Technical University, School of Architecture. In 1995, Derman founded DB Architecture with Dilek Topuz Derman. Since 1990, he has received numerous awards and mentions from nation-wide and international competitions, including 2 co-first-prize awards and 7 first-prize awards. Derman gave lectures in conferences on various platforms and has participated in juries as a critique. Some of his recently built projects are as follows: Muğla-Dalaman Airport, İstanbul-BJK Vodafone Arena, İzmir-Göztepe Gürsel Aksel Stadium, Ankara Stadium and Adana Stadium.
