Begüm Yılmaz Bilgin

In 2006, she enrolled in the Department of Civil Engineering at Kültür Üniversitesi and continued her studies by adding the Department of Architecture through a dual major program the following year. She continued her education at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven between 2010 and 2011. In 2011, she obtained a degree in Civil Engineering, followed by a degree in Architecture in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Architecture at Kültür Üniversitesi. Simultaneously, she began a master's program at the Faculty of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University. Between 2015 and 2019, she had the opportunity to work with Can Çinici at Çinici Architecture before continuing her work at Bilgin Architects, where she is a founding partner. Throughout her professional career, she has achieved significant success and won awards in various national architectural competitions. In 2024, she was honored with the Arkitera Young Architect Award.
