Aytac Architects
Born in 1977 in Istanbul, he received his bachelor's degree in architecture from Ohio State University in 1999 and his master's degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture in 2013. After working at NBBJ and Peter Eisenman's office in the USA, he founded Aytaç Architects in Turkey in 2005. In addition to the many international architectural awards he has received, in 2012 he participated in the Yenikapı Archaeological Museum and after winning the international competition project of Archaeopark and completing the application projects, it was exhibited at the Venice Biennale. In 2014, he was selected as one of the ‘40 most talented and promising architects under 40 in Europe’ by the Chicago Athenaeum. In 2021, he received the Architizer A+ award for the Golden Horn Library Project.
