Alişan Çırakoğlu

After graduating from Faculty of Architecture of Middle East Technical University in 1996 Alisan Cirakoglu took his master’s degree from the same faculty in 1999. He worked at several architectural companies in Ankara and Istanbul until he established his own practice Cirakoglu Architects in 2002. Currently he is leading the practice in Istanbul at Cirakoglu Avci Architecture Studio. He has won several prizes and honorable mentions including three first prizes in national competitions. In 2008 Cirakoglu was chosen the Young Architect of the year by Arkitera Architecture Center. Together with Ilgın Avcı, he won National Architectural Prize twice in 2014 and 2018 and the Turgut Cansever Prize in 2016.
