(1946 – 2021)
Uran graduated from İTÜ, School of Architecture in 1946. His first professional work was at the Ministry of Public Works, Development Works Project Office, which lasted about a year. In 1949, he founded his own office. While pursuing his office work, he was appointed as a faculty member in İTÜ, Faculty of Civil Engineering. He continued teaching Architectural Knowledge and Building Construction Methods & Technologies until the end of 1981. Afterwards, he demanded his retirement and handed over his position. The principles he embraces and specifically focuses on in his works are rationality, function, simplicity and harmony. Uran passed away in 2021.
